Desert heat adaptation

Do desert tribes prosper in desert areas because of their way of life - or are they physiologically adapted?

Id say both, a good bit of Darwinism thrown in, with an extra helping of generations of knowledge being passed on

They must be physically adapted, even with all the tricks in the world, they must need less water than I do. Perhaps it's because they don't drink alcohol, so they don't need water to re-hydrate themselves to cure a hang-over!
