On BBC 2 now, (Haven't got any info) appears to be a group of non-outdoorsy people who will be hiking over the hymalayas... first episode is training in the UK by the looks of it.

This Seems like a good concept but having trek in the Langtang valley myself theteam is really being pushed without having time to acclimatise.

True, they do seem to be pushing them a bit, but I think its to do with the time constraints of tv, they need to be reasonably quick but at the same time can't take too many risks.
