saw a postcard with this on, so dont know much about, but looks awesome, is basically hot air ballooning, but without a basket, being solely suspended under the balloon with a hot rocket strapped to your back

It really does! The idea of being strapped onto a huge tank of propane next to an open flame, thousands of feet above the ground tied to a big bit of fabric makes it even cooler;)
Must be quite similar to hangliding I'd think.

Is there no steering at all? It looks terrifying!
And this is coming from someone who used to skydive (freefall, not static line) as a hobby.

I'm not sure I'd want to go in one of those either! I don't like the idea of not being able to steer.

Ballooning is pretty expensive, but def worth as a one off treat, we did one as a family as it was my 18th, my sisters 21st, and my parents 25th wedding anniversary all in the same year so we thought it warranted some celebration.
its hardly a hardcore adrenaline ride, but is amazing how tranquil and still it is, and to be honest, the best bit is the reaction from the people as you pass over head
