Anyone headed off to any festivals this year? I'm missing out at present though I am tempted to go to Reading on the Sunday if only for Pendulum and Tenacious D! :)

No, haven't done for a few years now.

Glasto's gone downhill now that you can't just give someone a tenner to be let through a tunnel. (I mean, Jay-Z? And James Blunt? Who on earth had that idea?) The Leeds line-up doesn't look that inspiring either*, apart from Metallica & Pendulum (can't stand Tenacious D, sorry!). Radiohead apparently might be playing at Glasto, but I've already got tickets to see them in June, so there's not much point. Also - I saw the seminal 1997 Radiohead Glasto performance, and it's never going to top that.

*However, having just checked the line-up, I see that there's now a band named after a restaurant in central London I worked for (briefly managed one of the offshoot take-aways) back in the 90's. The name "Bombay Bicycle Club" can't have come from anywhere else!

Not got the money! Also now iv decided to spend some time in scotland thats gonna dry up my money well!

unless i can scrounge another reading ticket or some such i doubt i'll be going
there are better places to stay in a tent!
