42 Miles; It was the White Roase walk challenge, was awesome fun. I did it before i became interested in much walking hence i did it with cotton t shirt, nike running bottoms regatta mac and £14 hitec boots - my feet killed afterwards! but it was the best fun! I think it took 16 hours, cant remeber exactly.

Especially getting to top of climb and collapsing in heather and sleeping for 15 minutes while the group all came together (did it while I was at school there was about 30 people in total)

Not sure - it'll be in the region of 40-45 miles, I reckon.

However, the most knackering route I've ever done was only 20 miles, but it encompassed two pathless mountains, some of the roughest walking I've ever done & wading through a river in spate.

I don't go far distances, but all of my walking is off path, and we go over the mountains instead of round them. Which generally involves lots of scrambling and gorges to cross. So probably 20 miles.

we go over the mountains instead of round them.

Doesn't everybody on this forum? When I say 'encompassed', I mean that the route involved climbing them!

Probably yesterday, 15 miles in about 6 hours, taking my time as i doubt that my new boots have completely broken in.

*note to self* Always have something to eat if going on a long walk.

About 45 miles on coastal paths all around the edge of Jersey. Started at 3am, finished early evening... bacon sandwiches have never tasted as good as they did at the end of the walk!

Jersey is lovely, that must have been an incredible walk. I'm noticing a theme in the last two posts. One of the better tips to take some grub I think. Mine was always scotch eggs and 'bracingly cold water'.
