Apparently Open Adventure are holding a three day Coast to Coast Adventure Race next year! :D It's not on the website yet, but I have it on very good authority (i.e. the Open Adventure email newsletter).

Who's up for it? The dates are 28th - 30th August 2009, and with that much notice you can hardly claim you haven't got time to train....

What sort of race is it? Bike? Running? 180 miles would probably kill me! Are you thinking of entering it Maria? :p My view on your sanity might change depending on your answer... :D

3 days running, thats 60 miles a day! I know somone who ran offa's dyke which is about the same distance in 3 1/2 days.

It's not all running - there'll be MTB and kayak stages, and probably swimming, caving, climbing etc. as well! Maybe even road biking...

Entries aren't open yet, but I very much doubt it'll be open for solo entries - it'll be for pairs or teams. I just need to persuade someone else that it's a good idea.
