Patzl Ecrin Roc Helmet

Have you been using a Petzl Ecrin Roc helmet? Is it comfortable? Is it standing up resonable well to the wear and tear? Would you recommend it for use by youth groups or is it really a personal piece of kit? Have you encountered a situation where, if you were not wearing it, the outcome would have been serious?

it is comfortable, i have used it for group use and it is great, strong takes a lot off abuce i would recoment it for group use, i also recoment tha half dome for group use, both helmets are practicle, they arnt capable of withstanding the punishment the old joe browns could take but even a motorbick helmet isnt that strong. use either of the two go for the one which fits the buget.
i use the half dome for winter as my own climbing helmet is the ellios,it thakes more punish ment but the ellios is gd for personal use.
