With the sun coming out more, the weather being generally very hot, and a decided lack of coldness, is it finally Summer here in the UK?
Does anyone know if we're in for a good summer or not?

It were bloody warm today is not no mistaking that and no mistake. I believe that I read at some point somewhere that this was due to be the summer in England that is the hottest on record again. It has been the hottest summer on record for a number of summers now I think (?). In any case this has been the case for at least one recent year that we have previously gone through.
Probably all this global warming that is occurring (which is part of normally perfect climate shifts on account of the Earth coming out of a recent ice age which is prone to cause a climate shift in favour of warmness. I certainly would not say that we should be blaming President Bush of the United States of America and the oil companies of said country also because the blame is not something that rests on them it is possible that carbon dioxide emissions are partly to blame but I do not think that it is truly a significant factor and the true blame lies with natural climate shift).
Still it should be a good time for camping out in the summer at least unless we have any floods which I guess are pretty rare in the summer especially since it is getting hotter so there is no need to worry about that I guess.

As this is going towards a global warming debate i think its only fair to point out that Bush's stance not reducing emissions is because the level of emissions that the USA produces is well below the levels set by the keoto agreement which called for the more economically developed countries to reduce C02 emissions over x amount of years.
Even if we are coming out of an ice age is believe that we are increasing in global temperatures faster then would be the norm - and even if emmisins arent leadng to global warming they still cause acid rain which plays havock with the environment

Hey Tim,
Firstly, welcome to GoXplore!
It sounds like I might actually need to buy some shorts then, and renew the license for my legs.
