Snow blindness can produce bad headaches and gritty eyes.
Treatment should be taken in the form of rest, painkillers and eye patching.

Sunburn.
When at high altitudes there is less protection from the sun rays. Reflected sun may burn nostrils and under the chin.
Prevention should be taken in the form of SPF50 sunblock (1 hour before going into the sun) and covering skin.

If badly sunburnt cool affected area with cold water to remove heat from the burn. With serious wide spread sunburn hospital treatment can be advisable.
