For my communications A2 coursework im designing a poster for my local climbing club and i need some ideas about what should be included.
What would you peeps want included in a poster advertising a climbing club, what would you want it to say to you, what would engage you to it?
any help would be mucho appreciated

I reckon a photo of a really good looking girl climbing some rock in the blazing sun somewhere remote would get a lot of the men joining!
Perhaps suggest the benefits of climbing? It keeps you active, healthy, and impresses the women (if done well) ;)
But then.. I'm shallow.. so.. :D

I always think pictures of someone (preferably a hot lass of course) climbing on a cliff over looking the sea look really impressive. Especially when it's like a meditteranean type sea and beach.
And then I guess general info about the club; times, contacts, equipment.

I think if you use a more aproachable (e.g. if someone who hasn't been climbing before can see themsleves doing it) image of something really exciting, then that could encourage people to join perhaps? If I was going to join a club I would want to know how much enjoyment I could get out of it; not how 'good' the club is.
For example, I think it would interest many people more to see children and older people or a more 'casual' looking climber having lots of fun, rather than some athletic super climber hanging above the sea. The people that sort of image would attract would probably already be in a club or climb a lot independently, I would have thought.
Just my thoughts, anyway.

Perhaps a group shot rather than a super fit individual - show the social, trust and teamwork side of things as well?
