- Errr.. Well.. in College studying Biology & enviromental science at A2 level and chemestry at As level. Starting to look for a job, mainly to fund a complete overall of my outdoor gear (better/ lighter/ not too expencive) and to help fund hiking trips, hopefully have all the kit by next year.

Went for a drive round today, visiting the Denbigh moors where I hope to do my first bit of wildcamping. Called at Betws-y- coed and bought a map of the Berwyn mountain range, and Trekmates Polartec hat.
Also looked at crampons, Which dispite the label next to my boots in Cotswold Outdoor saying "not crampon compatible" a sales assistant did point out which ones would be okay for my boots.

Times are desperate at Wiccaweys, the border collie rescue I support. Finances are at an all time low. I am trying to think up of ways that I can help.

In a bid to get more active I decided to go on a 16 mile bike ride along the coast.
totaly knackered at the end of it.. very uncomfortable, injury to my left thumb from the grip shift gear shifter ( It takes a lot of force to change up so will replace them very soon with trigger shifters). uncomfortablness.. prob due to incoorrectly inflated tyres (valve has now broke on rear tube, will buy new tubes)
So at the end of the day... it was not a very good ride... hopfully the slight...

Will be taking my test on the 11th of feb.. Which If I pass means I will have plenty of free time on weekends, which shall be filled with spending the weekends out camping.
